Before you contact support
Hide your email in an iPhone screenshot before sending it to support
Support needs to see the error. They may not need your email address in the picture. Cover the details that are irrelevant to the problem, keep the error readable, and send a reviewed copy.

One screenshot, three checks
- Open a copy in ZeroNet Redact.Import the screenshot you plan to send. Keep the original separately. Leave the error message and relevant settings visible so support can understand the problem.
- Cover the whole email address.Review the suggested text areas and use a solid cover over every character. Add or resize a manual cover if needed. Check for a second copy of the email, plus names, notifications, account numbers and other details you do not need to share.
- Export, reopen, then send.Open the exported image and zoom in to inspect the entire picture, including its edges. Confirm that the email is covered and the error is still readable. Attach this exported copy, rather than the original, to your support message.
Check the file you will actually send
Automatic detection can miss details. Covering one email does not mean the rest of the screenshot is safe to share. Review the full exported image yourself; this guide does not guarantee that every identifying detail or metadata field has been removed.
If support needs your account email, provide it through the provider’s official support channel. A screenshot posted in a public forum should contain only what other readers need.
